Jurabelle Guesthouse is located at an altitude of 1,020 metres in the picturesque Val-de-Travers, in the heart of the Neuchâtel Jura.
Surrounded by a vast, largely unspoilt plateau that remains one of Switzerland's hidden gems, it offers a peaceful retreat where guests can relax, reconnect with nature, and escape the stresses of everyday life.
Our guesthouse offers cosy one-, two-, and three-bedroom holiday apartments, as well as tastefully furnished double rooms. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, providing everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
For larger gatherings, the entire guesthouse can be rented exclusively. It is an ideal venue for:
- Family reunions
- Seminars and workshops
- Retreats for boards, executive teams, leadership groups, or other organisations
Guests have access to a spacious professional kitchen. At its heart is a large dining table seating up to 16 people, creating the perfect setting for cooking together, sharing meals, and enjoying memorable moments.
The extensive garden is designed for relaxation and outdoor living. It features a large fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, and several comfortable seating areas with modern garden furniture, allowing guests to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
For guests who enjoy exploring the outdoors, we offer modern Thömus e-bikes for rent, together with route maps featuring a variety of cycling tours. We also provide hiking maps with recommendations for some of the region's most beautiful excursions, including:
- The spectacular Areuse Gorge
- A hike to the summit of Chasseron
- The impressive Creux du Van, often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of Switzerland"
Many more hiking trails and unforgettable nature experiences are waiting to be discovered.
Be inspired by the unique landscapes of the Neuchâtel Jura—a region known for its vast forests, tranquil high plateaus, and Nordic atmosphere, earning it the nickname "Little Scandinavia of Switzerland."
We look forward to welcoming you to Jurabelle Guesthouse.
